Some things deserve second chances like Marmite, the Irish rugby team and as always ...vintage clothes. Despite having vowed not to buy any retro threads until I filled by Louboutin quota, I just couldn't resist. This 1970's beauty to my right comes courtesy of Dublin's newest vintage store - Second Chance. Nestled on the corner of Aungier Street, it boasts a pretty decent selection of clobber at killer prices. At only €19, I could be excused for indulging my little habit. Guess I'll have to give that new year resolution a second chance.Second Chance vintage wardrobe, 3 Aungier Street, Dublin 2

I agree...lots of vintage clothing deserves a second chance. Not all of it though! Some items we really can say goodbye to.
That's a sweet dress and you can't beat the price (I'm converting EUR to $ right now in my head...yep...still good)!
Happy New Year!
yay! another vintage lover. i shall add you to the blogroll. yes indeed - today's purchase was recession dressing at its best. makes me feel less guilty about my more prodigious purchases! :)
looks promising, any offerings for male vintage devotees?
/Cillian.
only a few bits and pieces unfortunately. your best bet for male vintage is harlequin off drury street or wild child on crow street in temple bar. wild child is a bit cheaper than harlequin but both have fantastic pristine vintage.
I was so excited when this shop appeared and then was so quickly disappointed by it. It was like a poorly stocked charity shop, only more expensive.
i think it's one of those places where you'll find little gems now and again. i am soooo happy with my €19 dress. maybe i was just lucky but i think they might start getting in more statement pieces especially with competition from oxfam vintage only up the road.
